Urban Farms Limited has been formed to develop, own and manage urban farming operations. Their mission is to profitably deliver affordable, high-quality, locally-grown, chemical-free food in scalable, operational environments.
This project is currently in the financing stage. It's led by Ravi K. Bhola, a technology entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience. We've signed a partnership to develop a commercial indoor vertical farm in South Dakota.

KTIV: ‘Vertical Farming’ coming to North Sioux City, expected to provide 100 jobs
A new ambitious move to reshape local agriculture is being established in North Sioux City.
Urban Farms Limited has established Urban Farms’ South Dakota LLC. They plan to put together a three-acre, high-tech indoor vertical farm that will create 100 jobs and internships for Sioux City. The project will have an internship program geared towards high school, trade school or college students who have a passion for agriculture and technical innovation.
The company says the farm will be able to produce 4,000 lbs. of fresh, non-GMO and pesticide-free leafy greens every day. This is intended to help supply the local retail and food service sector, especially during the winter months. [READ MORE]
